Abstract Gladiolus - Print

Sitting on the back patio of our Cortijo, my friend Patty and I sat and painted, talked about life and enjoyed each other's company while practicing our abstract skills. This technique, an Ellen Crimi-Trent staple, was equal parts freeing and revealing as we delved into the possibility that an abstracted form could take. I chose gladiolus - glads - as they are the happiest, spunkiest and chunkiest flower I know.
