Our own little corner of home has the most interesting hillsides and small valleys. Sitting on a beach chair, I watched Lily play in our local lagoon. The backdrop, parts of my favorite hikes along Spring Lake, our local lagoon/lake. Here birds hover and eventually land, skidding into the water like drunken pilots. But for me, it’s the trees - the textures, the splashes of 30 different greens all set on the backdrop of a pure blue sky.
