Some of my favorite people are born in March… And daffodils are their birth month flowers. While typically an incredibly difficult flower for me to paint, I love how whimsical and illustrative these are. With just a hint of outline, these flowers burst through the page like they erupt from our rain soaked soil here in Northern California. 

9X12 watercolor and ink on paper. UV sprayed to protect it from the sun. Make sure she hangs in a shaded spot as watercolor will fade if exposed to direct light. 

9x12 piece matted in a standard sized 11X14 frame.
