My karaoke song is “Dance with Somebody” by Whitney Houston and honestly, I needed an excuse to use the title. However, I discovered an acoustic version of this one, slower and more raw in a sense by a modern artist and it really does sit well. I listened on repeat, as I am wont to do with a piece or a piece of music, and this beauty emerged. She’s sort of hidden behind the greenery - unsure if she’ll come out. 

With this arches paper, I continue to be impressed with the rough texture and ethereal beauty it captures. Without a doubt, one of my favorite loose watercolors in a while. 

This 12X16 piece comes all on its own - UV sprayed to protect from the sun - but not matted or framed. I like the idea of you as the new owner, finding an appropriate place, frame and maybe even a mat you like to bring her to her full colorful glory.
