Follow the Sun

The myth about sunflowers is that they reach their tall stalks to the sun. Apparently the flowers have a circadian rhythm that tracks the sun. Heliotropism? Hmm...the things you learn. 

Anyway, the myth about sunflowers is that on cloudy days they turn to face each other to capture some warmth. Though not true, I like the sentiment. There are people in our lives who offer us sunshine, who we learn to lean into, who bring warmth and sunshine and strength wherever they go.
