One of four or five sunset/sunrises in this collection, this piece captures the movement of a Sonoma County sunset at the coast. Northern California beaches are not known for their warm water any time of the year, and they can be downright windy. One year on my birthday, my tent had to be weighted down with everything in my car in addition to my tent stakes to simply stay stationary due to the wind. That night I laughed myself to sleep as the top of my tent bowed down over me, struggling against the wind. This one evokes a more peaceful sunset, one tempted with the heated haze of the sun pulling down past the water. I do love it. 

UV sprayed but still keep this piece out of direct sunlight to maintain its beautiful colors.
